RIS BANQUET CANCELLED - We are very sorry that the Riverside Banquet has been cancelled. There were not enough folks responding to RSVP request and other circumstances that require the cancellation. We appreciate the ones that took the time to respond. If you know of anyone that had planned to attend that might not see this cancellation notice, please let them know. Clayton will be mailing the points awards checks to all drivers.

The banquet will be Saturday, February 6, at The Balcony, 32 Quinton Avenue, Munford, TN 38004.   Doors open at 5 pm and dinner will be at 6 pm.  The cost of admission is $15.00 per person. RACERS FOR CHRIST breakfast this Saturday, January 16. 2010 at Bartlett Baptist Church, 3465 Kirby Whitten Pkwy. Breakfast at 8 am; followed by special guest speakers Larry Coleman and Bill Taylor. FREE- EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

Any drivers that are to receive 2009 points award money at the Championship Awards Banquet (tentatively planned for February, 6, 2010) can call Clayton at 901 508-6200 if they would like to apply that to finalize their 2010 reserved pit parking. All of these requests need to go directly to Clayton by February 1, 2010 to avoid confusion.

Hampton invited the public to log on to hamptonlandmarks.com in November, to vote for their favorite landmark from a list of 12 sites. Each landmark, originally nominated by states across the U.S., fits within Hampton’s 2010 “All-American Landmarks” theme, which will pay homage to landmarks that celebrate the diverse definitions of what it means to be American. Each site that Hampton’s Save-A-Landmark program will help refurbish next year reflects the individual personalities of the states and their residents, and signifies defining moments in our country’s past and/or the influential people that ignited these actions.  Parts Plus RIS was selected as one of the four winners of a Hampton Save-A-Landmark restoration in 2010.

2010 Riverside International Speedway Race Program
For the 2010 season RIS will present a uniform and consistent weekly race program with 6 classes of cars featuring the 360 winged sprints, 305 non winged sprints, stocks, and 600s every week.  The limited late models and the modifieds will alternate weekly.

Gates open at 2:00 p.m. East side admittance only. East side concession will be open. $5.00 per person, $15.00 per car.  Fans are welcome.   Come see the changes that have been made to the track during the winter.  Riverside Speedway works diligently to make your viewing experience  pleasant and enjoyable.  Watch the greatest drivers in the Mid South at Riverside Speedway.

Tickets are on sale now.  General admission tickets cost $35.00 and Pit Passes cost $45.00

Reserved seating is only offered on the East Side. West Side seating is first come first serve.
